THE EXAM REQUIREMENTS

The three pillars of Certified Compliance Officer Certification will equip you to provide compliance audits and remediation advice to your cannabis licensee clients.


Certified Compliance Officer Exam

Passing the Certified Compliance Officer Exam demonstrates that you've attained the knowledge and competency necessary to provide comprehensive compliance services to cannabis licensees. The Certified Compliance Officer Exam is a 200 question multiple choice test that consists of a 4 hour exam session in one day. The exam draws upon the guidebook and the study modules, and is comprehensive for all types of cannabis license activities including growing, processing, dispensing and transportation. Passing requires a 70% correct answer grade. Retakes must wait 30 days before a second attempt. Fees are discussed in the Associated Costs with Becoming a Certified Compliance Officer.

The education requirement includes (1) completing the coursework (the study modules) and the accompanying book, The Certified Cannabis Compliance Officer Audit Manual and Guidebook and (2) passing the Certified Cannabis Compliance Officer exam. You must complete all of the modules before you can sit for the exam.
